McKay-Military-Mini-Museum. (M4 for short)

One of Doug's hobbies is collecting WW2 helmets.
Serbian helmet.  Acquired at the Reading PA WWII Air Show and Re-enactments. I've noticed that the various helmets of the various Soviet and legacy forces do not come with liners.  It must have been uncomfortable to wear on an on-going basis, particularly on a parade square for some excessively long ceremony.
This is a Cavalry NCO Kepi circa early 1950's.  This would have been at the time of the French Indochina conflict.  Acquired at the Reading PA WWII re-enactment show.   I'm told that the silver chin strap is the NCO variety, and the number of plumes on the badge indicates the Foreign Legion, as opposed to the regular French army.
US Army

This is a typical tropical helmet as part of the dress uniform.  Acquired at an Ottawa show.
